Bihar State U-13 (Open & Girls) Chess Championship-2019 inaugurated here at National Inland Navigation Institute (NINI) , Patna on 13th April ,2019 . Championship was jointly inaugurated by Capt. Sumant Sahay , Principal , NINI and Shri Diljit Khanna , President , All Bihar Chess Association .
They played a friendly game with Mariyam Fatima , a budding player of Bihar and inaugurated the championship formally in presence of Dharmendra Kumar ,Hony. Secretary , ABCA and Ajit Kumar Singh , former Secretary of All Bihar Chess Association .
Other noted officials present on the occasion were Jay Prakash Sinha , VP , ABCA , Amaranjay Dubey , Treasurer , ABCA , Nandkishore , Vipal Subhashi , Himanshu Kumar , Salil Kumar ,(Joint. Secretaries ) Jagdip Narayan , President Nalanda District Chess Association , Iqbal Alam and Ravindra Kumar .
Auditorim of NINI was full of players , parents , coaches and other chess loving people .
