Vipal Subhashi of Bihar Team – B , Fide Rating 2078 has won the Gold Medal for Board no.1 in 39th National Team Chess Championship-2019 at Kolkata. He scored 6.5/7 (92.5%) and this performance was ahead of Silver Medalist GM Suryasekhar Ganguly of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (75%) and IM N R Vignesh of Airport Authority of India (71.4%). With this remarkable performance , he bagged a sum of Rs .8000/- along with Gold Medal for Bihar.
